Planned and implemented marketing, advertising and media strategies for a successful U.S. Senate campaign, as well as for companies ranging from $7 million to $300 million receiving Inc. 500, Utah 100 and Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Reformulated corporate approach to written communication, including revision of previous materials and establishment of new methods to increase effectiveness and reduce cost. Wrote business, advertising and marketing plans. Established new corporate image throughout all media, including graphic design. Refined direct marketing program for national mortgage broker, including improving mail procedures and overall effectiveness, while increasing RESPA compliance, resulting in average return five times greater the national average and a high mark of 20 times greater, with a 40 percent reduction in cost.

Well versed in the Internet, having begun webmastering when the Internet was just beginning to penetrate business in 1995. Planned, programmed and launched new Web sites, as well as reengineering established sites with as much as 400 percent increases in traffic using viral marketing. Trained in Omniture SiteCatalyst.

College communication instructor from 1996–2021. Taught seminars in subjects ranging from creative writing and editing to layout and design to public speaking to the seven steps of selling. Trained employees in job-specific skills ranging from cash control to customer service to graphic design to inventory control to label manufacturing to photography to quality control (internal and receiving). Developed distance-learning service package.

Acted as official representative for for a successful candidate for U.S. Senate, as well as Presidents/CEOs at companies ranging from $7 million to $300 million. Coached Presidents and CEOs in public speaking, including ongoing critique and polishing. Created multimedia presentations to accompany executive speaking engagements, including training in proper use of hardware and software, and backup plans should technical difficulties occur. Planned and executed highly successful internal public-relations campaigns, including regular corporate communications, recognition of employee excellence, corporate mergers, recovery from financial duress and company restructuring. This often included ghost writing presidential messages and letters.
